Job summary

Rust-Oleum is seeking a manufacturing post-batch specialist at our site in Alabama. You will complete post-batch activities, ensure documentation is complete, and enter data into spreadsheets or databases with accuracy.

You will provide on-site technical and Quality assistance, address customer concerns, audits, and drive continuous improvement projects, while maintaining a safe work environment.

Qualifications

• Experience documenting manufacturing processes and batch records.
• Ability to enter and validate data in ERP/database systems.
• Familiarity with audits and quality assurance activities.

Responsibilities

• Review manufacturing data and ensure packets are complete.
• End production orders in ERP and notify teams of discrepancies.
• Provide on-site technical and Quality support to internal departments.
• Prepare communications and reports as required.

Job description

Perform post-batch activities in a timely manner, efficiently, and with accuracy for the respectively assigned manufacturing site, including but not limited to the following:

• Ensure all manufacturing documentation is filled out as required, manufacturing packet is complete, and expediently addressing gaps in data and/or documentation when they arise during post-batch review process.
• Review of manufacturing data/settings for potential issues and enter manufacturing data into corresponding spreadsheets and/or databases. Where discrepancies are noted, notify management through the appropriate channels.
• Scan and index manufacturing packet and records into company document database.
• Update Process Record Templates for each product on specified lines based on post-batch review of completed batches, if applicable to the assigned manufacturing site.
• End production orders (batch runs) in company ERP system and notify internal teams to address any discrepancies in the ERP system preventing production orders from being “Ended” in the system.

Provide on-site technical and Quality assistance to internal departments, as required, including but not limited to:

• Customer concerns
• Internal corrective action requests
• Internal audits
• Continuous improvement project

Prepare communications, reports, and give technical presentations, as required. Ensure and maintain a safe working environment for all employees.
