Job summary

Perrigo in Allegan Township, MI is seeking a QA Technician to respond to quality events, document actions, and determine immediate containment in a fast-paced, FDA-regulated setting.

You will review documentation, identify defects, and manage the rework process while auditing manufacturing and packaging for cGMP compliance. A high school diploma is required, with preference for advanced education; strong communication and analytical skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required, with preference given to those with advanced education (2-year or 4-year degree, or progress toward a degree).
• A minimum of 2 years experience working in an FDA regulated industry is preferred; at least 6 months of experience is required.
• Must possess an understanding of and ability to apply cGMPs.
• Must have a working knowledge of SOPs and be able to provide clear direction and interpretation.
• Strong analytical skills are required.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential, as are strong interpersonal skills.
• The ability to work independently against multiple deadlines is required.
• Must be able to understand equipment operation and manufacturing/packaging processes.

Description Overview

Please note this is a 2nd shift position working Monday - Friday from 3 PM to 11 PM. Additional hours may be required and is dependent on the needs of the organization and/or department.
