Responsibilities

  • Conduct Regular Quality Checks: perform at least two checks per production machine per shift.
  • Lead Production Line Inspections: assist with first-off inspections at shift start.
  • Finished Product Audits: audit finished products each shift to ensure quality.
  • Non-Conformance Tracking: document nonconforming materials and assist quarantine processes.
  • Data Entry: enter quality data into systems and track quality.
  • Collaborate Across Teams: work with production and quality teams to resolve issues.
  • Flexible Work Schedule: overtime as needed, sometimes on short notice.
  • Other Duties as Assigned.

Description

We're looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Quality Control Technician to ensure the highest standards in our manufacturing process. If you're someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering high-quality products, we'd love to hear from you!

3rd Shift, 11:00pm - 7:00am, Sunday - Thursday

Pay Rate: $17.50

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct Regular Quality Checks: Perform at least two checks per production machine each shift, assessing measurements, seal integrity, hot melt application, and overall product appearance.
  • Lead Production Line Inspections: Assist with first-off inspections to ensure each production line is ready to go at the start of every shift.
  • Finished Product Audits: Perform thorough audits on finished products at least once per shift to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Non-Conformance Tracking: Document any nonconforming materials and help manage quarantine procedures, including inventory transactions.
  • Data Entry: Accurately enter quality data into various systems and track product quality throughout production.
  • Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with production and quality teams to maintain high standards and resolve any issues quickly.
  • Flexible Work Schedule: Must be willing to work overtime when needed, sometimes with short notice.
  • Other Duties as Assigned.
Qualifications
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: Prior experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus but not required. We'll provide training to help you succeed!
  • Skills:
    • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
    • Ability to follow both written and verbal instructions.
    • Basic math skills and ability to read a tape measure.
    • Comfortable using hand-held devices and tablets for data entry.
    • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
    • Strong problem-solving and safety awareness skills.
    • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Physical Requirements
  • Regular walking and standing; occasional sitting, stooping, bending, and twisting.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and 10 lbs regularly.
  • Clear vision, including depth perception and peripheral vision, required for quality control tasks.

  • Safety First: You'll work in an environment with complex machinery, so a focus on safety and awareness of operational hazards is essential.
  • Manufacturing Setting: Be part of an energetic team in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
  • Noise and Temperature: Hearing protection is required due to high noise levels. You may experience exposure to varying temperatures depending on the season and area of the plant.
