Job summary

O’Neal Manufacturing Services in Cedar Falls, IA is seeking a QA Technician to perform quality audits, testing, and documentation. The role includes 2nd shift hours (Monday-Thursday, 3:30pm–2:00am) with training on 1st shift for 6–12 weeks and requires strong measurement tool experience.

The candidate will support engineering teams, analyze data, and ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015 quality standards. Proficiency in GD&T, CMM inspection, and FMEA/PPAP processes is preferred.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years: Previous manufacturing quality experience.
• Technical or Associates degree preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; Excel used for data analysis.
• Understanding of GD&T and inspection methods.
• Experience with FARO or other CMM equipment.
• Knowledge of QA processes (FMEA, PPAP, FAI/FPY) and ISO 9001:2015.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality audits and tests and maintain records per Quality Standards.
• Calibrate measurement and test equipment; maintain documentation.
• Interpret drawings, blueprints, and specifications for quality assessments.
• Prepare inspection reports and recommend corrective actions.
• Support SPC charts and process control discussions.
• Assist in Kaizen teams and development of inspection procedures.
