Job summary

JARP Industries is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician on 2nd shift (Mon-Thu, 2:00pm–12:00am) for a full-time role. The position focuses on verification, inspection, and calibration tooling management within the ISO 9001 framework.

The candidate should have 4+ years in a manufacturing/engineering setting; a 2-year degree is desirable but not required. ASQ certifications are encouraged, with company support for development.

Qualifications

• Four (4) years minimum cumulative experience in similar or related roles, preferably within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
• Two (2) year associate degree in a suitable discipline is desirable but is not a requirement.
• Experience with leadership of small teams is desirable but is not a requirement.
• Proven knowledge and experience of an equivalent nature will be considered in place of the educational requirements.

Responsibilities

• Create, review, develop and complete processes, procedures, instructions, forms and other documents related to verification and inspection processes.
• Maintain, develop and use calibrated tooling program (calibration, repair, purchase and documentation).
• Support Operations in verification of products and processes.
• Support Supply Chain in development of Suppliers through product analysis, corrective and preventive actions and related tasks.
• Support Root Cause Analysis for nonconformance with supplied or JARP products/services.
• Assist with returned/nonconforming product and material as part of Warranty Evaluation.
• Follow and improve ISO 9001 certified aspects of the JARP Industries BMS.
• Contribute to JARP’s Quality metrics and actions.
