Job summary

Crider Foods is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician to conduct inspections on products and facilities, recording results, and adhering to food safety policies. The role emphasizes accurate measurements, material inspections, and maintaining detailed records.

The ideal candidate will pass the QA Proficiency Exam, read and write English fluently, and demonstrate strong organizational and teamwork skills. This on-site hourly position requires attention to GMPs and proactive problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Crider Foods requires all employees to comply with and support all Food Safety and Quality policies, programs and procedures to ensure our products meet and exceed consumers’ expectations.
• Performing measurement and weight control checks.
• Performing equipment inspections
• Performing incoming raw material inspections
• Check instruments such as temperature gauges at regular intervals.
• Making sure that machines are always kept clean.
• Inspection of product labels, MSDS and safe use of chemicals.
• Recording and maintaining accurate and detailed records.
• Ensuring GMP’s are being properly followed.
• All other duties as assigned.
• (In case of absence of key personnel, the job will be filled by a trained employee)
