Scopely is looking for a Tech QA Analyst to join our Monopoly Go! team in the US on a remote basis.

Monopoly GO! is our new casual game and a key franchise that has become one of Scopely’s largest games enjoyed by millions. The team is based in Europe and the US, working daily to create captivating experiences for our players.

What You Will Do

• Report to the Tech QA Manager and oversee the daily quality efforts of the Build and Automation team (BAT).
• Develop comprehensive test plans covering scope, estimates, resources, tooling, and wider requirements from concept to release.
• Create, maintain, and execute test suites and cases tailored to your team's needs.
• Maintain a clean bug database aligned with your team's work.
• Onboard external QA resources, ensuring they are aligned with internal processes and fostering strong collaboration.
• Lead by example through hands-on testing and accountability at all development stages.
• Review briefs and design documents to raise quality concerns early.
• Facilitate pod-specific playtests and track issues for broader feedback.
• Maintain an overview of upcoming technical changes using tracking and reporting tools.
• Develop a strong understanding of MonopolyGo!’s core mechanics to support the broader QA team.
• Follow QA governance and best practices throughout the project lifecycle.
• Collaborate with developers to understand scope changes and assess impacts.
• Participate in annual reviews, providing feedback and reflecting on growth.
• Promote Scopely’s core tenets through actions, communication, and leadership.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong backend testing familiarity.
• Knowledge of E2E testing tools such as Charles Proxy and Postman.
• Experience with Bamboo, Jenkins, Testrail.
• Leadership skills with proven experience.
• Excellent communication and attention to detail.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Proactive, enthusiastic, self-motivated attitude.
• Ability to multitask in an agile environment under strict deadlines.
• Commercial awareness of business priorities.
• Willingness to travel occasionally to offshore hubs.
• Exceptional reporting capabilities.
• Extensive knowledge of JIRA or similar bug tracking systems.
• Understanding of mobile submission protocols for Apple and Google.
• Knowledge of the gaming industry and development lifecycle.
• Experience with Unity and local build processes.
• Familiarity with automation frameworks.
