Job summary

PL Developments is seeking a QA Team Lead/Inspector to manage inspections, sampling, and data for compliance. You will coordinate with operations to improve processes and ensure accurate batch records across production lines on site in Lynwood, CA.

The role requires attention to documentation, GMP knowledge, and English proficiency, with a schedule Monday–Friday 5:00 am–1:30 pm and a pay range of $19–$21 per hour depending on experience.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED required.
• Good math skills and detail orientation.
• Knowledge of GMP and SOPs preferred.
• Able to speak/read/write English; training available.
• Some manufacturing experience and basic statistics skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee inspections, sampling, and checks in manufacturing.
• Collaborate with operations for process improvement.
• Back-up as document control specialist; ensure good docs.
• Review batch records for in-process and finished products.
• Inspect and release production lines and components.
• Identify quality issues and support resolutions.
• Cross-train QA inspections in packaging lines.
• Perform in-process testing and lab measurements.
• Handle customer complaint reviews and reporting.
