Job summary

Perricone Juices seeks a Quality Assurance Supervisor to lead the QA team on the Fort Pierce production floor. You will oversee daily QA activities, ensure food safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, and coordinate CCP monitoring with the HACCP team.

This exempt supervisory role requires strong leadership and a focus on corrective actions. The role emphasizes SQF/GMP/FDA compliance, audits (including Costco COC/SCS), and maintaining audit-ready records.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; advanced degree or technical certification preferred.
• Minimum 3–5 years of progressive QA experience in a food/beverage manufacturing environment, with 1–2 years in a lead or supervisory role.
• Working knowledge of HACCP, GMP, SQF, and FDA regulatory requirements; HACCP/PCQI certification preferred.
• Experience supporting SQF and customer audits (e.g., Costco COC/SCS).
• Familiarity with laboratory/testing methods, sanitation verification, and CAPA/root cause processes.
• Experience with QA management systems and Microsoft Office/Excel.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish or English/Haitian Creole) a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise QA technicians and inspectors across shifts, ensuring production line coverage.
• Oversee in-process quality checks, finished product testing, and sanitation verification.
• Review hold/release/disposition decisions for non-conforming product; escalate deviations.
• Ensure compliance with SQF, GMP, FDA 21 CFR Parts 117 and 120, and OSHA; support audits.
• Coordinate CCP monitoring with HACCP/Document Control Coordinator; ensure food safety plan adherence.
• Investigate quality deviations; lead CAPA development and follow-up.
• Maintain audit-ready QA records, testing logs, and calibration logs.
• Support new product trials, label verification, and changes with R&D/regulatory.
