Job summary

Stemilt Growers in Wenatchee, WA is seeking a Day Shift QA Supervisor to lead quality assurance at the Old Station/Euclid Plant. The role runs 5:00 am – 2:00 pm, Monday to Friday with some Saturdays, and may vary with production demands.

You will monitor production lines to ensure grade specifications are met, oversee QC staff, train new employees, and uphold SQF, cleanliness, and safety standards while providing timely feedback to the line supervisor.

Qualifications

• Must know WA state grade standards.
• Basic computer knowledge required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience supervising and training employees.
• Able to lift 50 lbs and work with minimal supervision.
• Oracle knowledge is a plus; Discover knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist QA supervisor in daily operations.
• Develop and maintain knowledge of product specifications and grade levels.
• Monitor Production Lines to ensure grade specifications are met.
• Provide accurate and timely feedback on product conditions.
• Monitor product quality individually and through QC staff.
• Ensure SQF, cleanliness and safety standards are maintained continuously.
• Evaluate and ensure individual customer standards are met.
• Provide excellent customer services.
• Train new employees.
• Provide feedback to line supervisor concerning fruit quality and standards.
• Additional duties may be assigned based on department needs.
