Job summary

Lactalis American Group is seeking a Quality Assurance Supervisor to support QA Managers and ensure GMPs, GSPs, and regulatory compliance across all quality functions.

The role covers inspection and audit activities, coordination with customers and regulators, and ongoing improvement initiatives to maintain quality and service excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Food, Dairy, or Natural Science from a four-year college/university preferred.
• 2-3 years' experience in Quality Control and Quality Assurance.
• 2+ Years Management.
• Microsoft Office Proficient; Work, Excel, Outlook.
• ISO quality management systems.
• HACCP.
• Statistical process regarding regulatory agencies, i.e., USDA, FDA, etc.

Responsibilities

• Maintains QA objectives complementary to corporate policies and goals.
• Oversees insect and rodent prevention programs and follow up with plant sanitation.
• Informs essential personnel on new regulations related to the Quality Control function within responsibility.
• Cooperates with management in formulating and establishing company policies, operating procedures, and goals.
• Demonstrates professionalism in all aspects of plant's rules and regulations and encourages quality personnel performance.
• Identifies strengths and weaknesses of employees and trains/coaches to strengthen weaknesses and utilize strengths.
• Performs administrative managerial duties (phone calls, voicemail, paperwork, meetings).
• Works to facilitate data exchange between departments and QA employees to ensure quality compliance is met.
• Maintains open communication with all employees and managers; seeks ways to improve employee relations.
• Performs monthly plant inspections and reports on conditions needing improvement to plant management.
• Communicates results to production, packaging, and managers when discrepancies arise and offers solutions.

Lactalis American Group, part of the Lactalis family of companies, is currently hiring a Quality Assurance Supervisor. The Quality Assurance Supervisor assists the QA Managers to ensure compliance with both Lactalis and regulatory requirements. Responsible for Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), Good Sanitation Practices (GSPs), quality of conformity, and quality of services. Inspect and audit the operation in all phases of quality performance. Will assist the plant during inspections and audits with customers, third party, and regulatory agencies

• Maintains open communication with all employees and managers; actively seeks ways to improve employee relations.
• Performs daily, weekly, and monthly observations and submits written monthly plant inspections with conditions needing improvement to plant management.
• Communicates results to production, packaging, and managers when discrepancies arise and offers solutions.
