Job summary

General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems (OTS) is seeking a QA Specialist II to support quality assurance activities in Camden, AR. The role requires an Associate's Degree and 2–4 years of experience, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and a focus on audits, QA processes and training.

The successful candidate will contribute to the Quality Management System, participate in audits, and help implement corrective actions.

  • Creates, updates and leads Quality training as needed.
  • May administer material review boards and database.
  • May lead or support various projects as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Required education and experience: Associate's Degree and 2-4 years' experience OR Equivalent Combination of Relevant Education &/or Experience
  • Critical professional related technical skills; computer skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Preferred education and experience: Bachelor's Degree
  • Discipline/Major: Quality Assurance or other related degree preferred
  • Knowledge, skills & abilities: Batch Testing. Inspection. Nondestructive Testing. Product QA. Quality Assurance Process. Quality Improvement. Quality Inspection. Quality Management System (QMS).

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position at a desk and/or computer for extended periods of time.
  • Requires regular movement throughout GD-OTS facilities.
  • May need to stand for long periods of time.
  • Work may require employee to work inside and outside with exposure to changing climate and/or operate machinery.
  • May be requested to work a different shift.
  • This position is Safety-Sensitive.

Travel Requirements:
