Job summary

Custom Processing Services is seeking a QA Technician to be the primary release agent for production on the shift. This role reviews data and documentation against customer agreements and interfaces with inventory release software.

The position may support in-process QC testing, internal audits, and new product development tasks. Strong data analysis, reporting, and communication skills are required.

Qualifications

• Ability to work extended shifts (twelve hours) is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and self-supervision capabilities.
• Experience in manufacturing quality functions preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Release product on the shift by reviewing data and documentation against customer agreements.
• Support QC testing, inspections, internal audits, and new product development tasks.
• Analyze production data and documentation to confirm customer requirements.
• Create data analysis tables and reports, and submit to customers (Certificates of Analysis, Process Yields, etc.).
• Conduct root-cause investigations for non-conformances and deviations.
• Operate gauging and test equipment for QA functions, including calibration and preventive maintenance.
• Assist in qualification and validation studies.
• Prepare samples for shipment to customers.
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of laboratory and sample storage areas.
• Review incoming receipts against customer requirements and perform product release.
• Communicate results and learnings to the shift team to drive improvements.
• Track departmental metrics and report results.
• Perform other assigned tasks.
