The company delivers complex heavy civil and infrastructure projects, including water/wastewater treatment facilities, pumping stations, pipelines and major public works.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced construction quality professional to take ownership of QA/QC operations, working closely with project teams to ensure the highest standards of quality across multiple projects.

Water/wastewater experience is preferred but not essential. Candidates from broader heavy civil, industrial or infrastructure construction backgrounds will also be considered.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement and oversee QA/QC programmes across construction projects.
  • Ensure compliance with project specifications, contract requirements and industry standards.
  • Manage quality inspections, testing procedures, audits and documentation.
  • Work closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, engineers and subcontractors.

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
  • Experience on heavy civil, infrastructure, industrial or large-scale construction projects.
  • Strong understanding of construction quality standards, inspections and testing.
  • Experience developing and managing project quality plans.
  • Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
  • Based in Northern California or willing to relocate.
Preferred
  • Experience on water/wastewater treatment plants, pumping stations or pipelines.
  • Background working for a heavy civil general contractor.
  • Knowledge of structural concrete, earthworks, underground utilities and mechanical installations.
  • Experience with municipal or public works projects.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001, ASTM and relevant construction quality standards.
  • Quality management certifications such as CQM, CQE or similar.
Ideal Candidate

We're looking for a hands‑on QA/QC Manager who can take ownership of quality across complex construction projects.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge, excellent attention to detail and the confidence to work with both field teams and senior leadership.

While water/wastewater experience would be a plus, we're open to candidates from other construction backgrounds who bring strong quality management experience.

  • Competitive base salary, dependent on experience.
  • Opportunity to work on major infrastructure projects throughout Northern California.
