Job summary

A leading energy solutions firm is seeking a Quality Control Inspector to ensure compliance of Solar PV, BESS, and EV projects. You will conduct inspections, verify adherence to codes and specifications, and manage quality assurance processes. Qualifications

• Strong understanding of QA/QC processes in Solar PV, BESS, and EV charger installations.
• In-depth knowledge of NEC, UL, IEEE, and local building code requirements.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, one-lines, and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive inspections of ongoing and completed work.
• Verify compliance with engineered drawings and safety standards.
• Issue and track non-conformance reports with construction teams.
• Perform witness testing and validate test results.
• Review subcontractor work for quality and adherence to scope.
• Support project closeout through review of documentation.
• Provide weekly inspection summaries.
• Coordinate with commissioning team for system readiness.

Skills

Strong understanding of QA/QC processes in Solar PV, BESS, and EV charger installations

In-depth knowledge of NEC, UL, IEEE, and local building code requirements

Ability to interpret engineering drawings, one-lines, and specifications

Skilled in identifying workmanship issues

Excellent communication and documentation skills

Proficiency with Microsoft Office and QAQC documentation platforms

Ability to work independently in the field

Physical ability to work on construction sites
