Job summary

MasTec, Inc. is seeking a Quality Inspector to verify conformance of materials, equipment, and installation to project specifications on large wind, solar, and industrial projects in Texas.

Under general supervision, you will inspect field activities, generate reports, and coordinate with field teams to record QA data and meet schedules while upholding safety policies.

Applicants should have an associate degree or related experience, with NDE or other inspection certifications preferred.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Engineering Technology, Construction Management or related field, or GED with 1-3 years construction experience.
• Inspection related certifications, such as NDE, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and ensure quality of work on wind, solar, and industrial projects.
• Maintain QA/QC records and punch lists to document inspections.
• Record daily field data and report progress to management.
• Coordinate with field supervision to meet project schedules and QA standards.
• Ensure calibration status of measuring and test equipment and proper data recording.
• Promote safety policies and practices on site.
