Job summary

A growing regional electrical utilities contractor is seeking a detail-oriented QA/QC Inspector to support transmission, distribution, and substation construction projects. This role is responsible for ensuring all work is completed in accordance with project specifications, client standards, safety regulations, and applicable industry codes.

Qualifications

• 3+ years QA/QC inspection experience in electrical utilities or EPC environments.
• Ability to read electrical drawings, one-lines, and technical specs.
• Know NEC standards and industry QA/QC requirements.
• Travel regionally to active project sites.

Responsibilities

• Perform field inspections on transmission, distribution, substation projects.
• Verify work conforms to drawings, specs, standards, and contract requirements.
• Audit QA/QC documentation and turnover packages.
• Inspect electrical installations and equipment installations.
• Maintain QA/QC records and corrective action reports.
• Coordinate with field leadership to resolve deficiencies.
• Support client inspections and project closeout activities.
• Monitor subcontractor compliance with quality standards.
• Adhere to OSHA requirements and safety policies.
• Assist commissioning and testing activities as needed.
• Contribute to root-cause analysis and continuous improvement.
• Track and report quality metrics to leadership.
