Western Aircraft Inc. is hiring a QA/QC Aircraft Inspector in Idaho to perform in-progress and final inspections ensuring airworthiness per FAA, RSM, and OEM manuals.
The role relies on physical inspection and paperwork review to approve RTS with attention to calibration of tooling and adherence to policy. Five years of general aviation maintenance experience and a valid Airframe & Powerplant certificate are required; experience with Gulfstream and other OEMs is preferred.
Perform in-progress and final quality control inspections on articles under assembly, repair, and/or alteration. Ensure all maintenance performed is in accordance with FAA regulations, the RSM (Repair Station Manual), and the OEM (original Equipment Manufacturer) maintenance manuals for approval of any article for Return to Service (RTS). This will be accomplished by physical inspection and paperwork review.
Monday-Friday 7am-4pm (minimum 40 hours per week)
Up to $25,000 sign-on bonus / relocation incentive available depending on experience.
