Job summary

Wayne-Sanderson Farms seeks a QA Operator for 1st shift at the Kinston, NC plant. You will verify production processes, packaging, and food safety, and assist with documentation, inventory control, and release of hold product.

Under supervision, you will support Production with quality issues, verify GMPs, and ensure labels and materials meet specifications. You must lift up to 60 lbs and follow safety policies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year QA experience or 6 months with Wayne-Sanderson Farms employee.
• Able to communicate in English, both verbal and written.
• Strong attention to detail and basic math and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor production lines and paperwork to ensure product specifications are met.
• Verify labels, lot codes, bags, boxes, and pallets for correct adherence and printing.
• Verify incoming raw materials and inform QA/Shipping if any do not meet specifications.
• Assist with day-to-day quality issues to reach workable solutions while following GMPs and safety policies.
