Our client, an industry leader in telecommunications, has an excellent opportunity for a QA Manual Test Lead (Web & Mobile Platforms) to work on a 12+ month contract opportunity. Work will be a hybrid on-site/remote schedule in Englewood, CO. The QA Manual Test Lead will oversee the Quality Manual Test Team to discover, reproduce, document any issues with quality software applications, once the products have been launched to Production.

Responsibilities
- Subject Matter Expert (SME) for intended Product functionality and user experience. Maintains current knowledge of front-end application systems and functionality.
- Responsible for developing and executing formal test plans to explore, discover and reproduce issues in production following the delivery of quality software applications.
- Responsible for test planning, writing test cases/scripts, test case automation as needed and test execution.
- Test Lead will test and attempt to reproduce, identify and analyze any bugs found from a variety of intakes, and document them using JIRA ticketing system.
- Responsible for leading offshore testers in India. As such, ‘split’ working hours (onshore + offshore) may be required. Participates in Webex meetings with off-shore and onsite partners.
- A normal workday for the Quality Test Lead includes developing new tests to run, running the tests directly and overseeing the Quality Manual Test Team in running the tests, and documenting results and findings.
- Once validated defects have been fixed, Test Lead/Test Team will run tests again to make certain that no new bugs have been introduced, and to ensure that the original defect found has been corrected.
- Collaborates with Site Reliability Engineers, Customer Experience teams, Product, and Test Account Creation partners to ensure quality standards are met for all requirements and testing therein.
- Delivers quality process training to offshore Quality Manual test team and acts as an internal quality consultant to advise or influence business.
Experience Requirements
- 7-10+ years of manual testing experience, doing Front-End (UI) testing in a Web Portal / Mobile app environment.
- Must have prior experience as a lead, managing teams of 3Any experience managing offshore teams is a plus)
- Manual Front end testing (required) of web-based portals and/or mobile applications
- Keen awareness of intended Product functionality and user experience
- Able to develop and execute formal test plans using recommended test platforms
- Has the ability to lead a team through effective delegation, training, and motivation.
- Testing platforms(preferred): TestRail, Sauce Labs
- Ticketing platforms (preferred): JIRA
- Willingness to learn and adapt to additional testing platforms and strategies to increase manual testing efficiency
- Working knowledge of SDLC including design, testing, debugging, and maintenance of front-end, web-based and mobile applications.
- Participates in all applicable agile ceremonies as defined by client
