Position Summary

Lead QA Tech is responsible for overseeing and coordinating activities of Quality Assurance Technicians in the QA Department. Manage all QA operations in accordance with plant policies and procedures.

General Purpose

Quality Assurance is a process which requires specific knowledge and skill. Lead Quality Assurance Tech will work across all sectors of manufacturing and are responsible for carrying out checks on products and processes to ensure they meet predetermined quality standards.

Position Responsibilities

Crider, Inc. requires all employees to comply with and support all Food Safety and Quality policies, programs, and procedures to ensure our products meet and exceed consumers’ expectation.

Responsibilities may include:

• Oversee QA technicians


• Help with various projects as directed by QA Supervisor


• Know, understand, and enforce plant rules, GMP, SOP, HACCP


• Working knowledge of HACCP plan and HACCP checks


• Working knowledge of SOP plans and SSOP checks


• Know all GMP's and plant rules


• Must know how to do GMP audits


• Help with doing food safety research


• Assist in writing or updating plant procedures, policies, and prerequisite programs as needed


• Record review


• Record filing


• Data entry


• Document preparation


• All other duties as assigned

Essential Skills and Experience

• Successfully pass QA Proficiency Exam.


• Must be able to read and write English.
