Job summary

SK Food Group in Groveport, OH is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Technician to support finished products, raw ingredients, and packaging materials. You will ensure GMPs and food safety practices and monitor HACCP programs to maintain quality standards.

You will lead QA Technicians, analyze data, coordinate with production on regulatory issues, and help drive continuous improvement in quality processes. Able to train others and work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent with 1-2 years related experience or training
• Bachelor’s degree in a scientific field preferred
• Food Safety or Quality related certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead QA Technicians with daily tasks and training.
• Follow HACCP plans to ensure food safety.
• Make decisions on product quality and safety.
• Analyze quality data for improvements.
• Coordinate with production on regulatory and quality issues.
• Train staff on GMPs.
• Inspect sanitation of work areas.
• Collect samples and participate in production runs.
• Perform QA duties as needed.
