Qualifications

• One year of experience in laboratory work performing laboratory procedures.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience allowed.
• Substitution: one college-level laboratory science course for every six months of required experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine laboratory procedures such as preparation of media and samples.
• Operates laboratory equipment for sample examinations.
• Enters data into the laboratory computer system accurately.
• Maintains laboratory records and clean work area.
• Assists technical staff and supports quality assurance processes.
• Other duties as assigned.
