Job summary

Kroger Manufacturing is seeking a QA professional to participate in programs ensuring food safety, quality, and compliance. You will perform product tests, audits, and calibrations, maintaining thorough documentation and supporting SQF 2000 System improvements.

Ideal candidates hold an associate degree, have 2+ years QA lab experience, and possess knowledge of food safety concepts, with strong communication and computer skills to thrive in a fast-paced plant environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old
• High school diploma or GED
• Basic math and computer skills
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Knowledge of food safety programs, microbiological and sanitation concepts

Responsibilities

• Perform required product tests, audits and calibrations to ensure food safety and quality.
• Maintain accurate documentation.
• Complete tasks on If down, do lists.
• Complete safety observations as assigned.
• Keep work area neat and clean.
• Follow established programs, policies and practices to produce safe, quality foods meeting regulatory and company requirements.
• Support the development, implementation, maintenance, and ongoing improvement of the SQF 2000 Systems.
