Job summary

DuCharme McMillen and Associates, Inc. is seeking a QA Intern to support the Quality Assurance team in testing software applications and technology solutions.

You will gain hands-on experience with test execution, defect tracking, and Agile practices while collaborating with QA Engineers, Developers, and Business Analysts. The role involves creating and maintaining test cases, performing manual tests, and contributing to functional, UAT, and regression testing.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Familiarity with software development and testing concepts preferred.
• Exposure to Agile methodologies is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in creating, executing, and maintaining test cases and data for software applications.
• Perform manual testing of web-based and internal business applications.
• Document and report defects and test results using tracking tools like Jira.
• Participate in Functional, UAT, and Regression testing activities.
• Support QA team in validating bug fixes and enhancements.
• Learn and apply QA methodologies and best practices.
