Job summary

Bourns, Inc. in Logan, UT is seeking a quality auditor to conduct mechanical and visual audits of production processes to ensure conformance to prints, control plans, and procedures.

You will document audit results to maintain traceability and support ongoing quality improvements. Responsibilities include setting up dimensional testing with automated equipment, performing mechanical tests with micrometers etc., recording data, reporting non-conformances, and applying basic shop math.

Qualifications

• High school graduate; basic math including decimals, percentages, and fractions.
• Experience with test equipment preferred.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to read and record data accurately.
• Ability to perform basic shop math and interpret measurements.

Responsibilities

• Work under close direction of supervisor.
• Set up and perform dimensional testing with automated equipment.
• Perform mechanical tests and audits using micrometers and calipers.
• Record audit results and report non-conformances.
• Understand traceability records and quality procedures.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
