Job Description

We are looking for a QA Engineer to lead testing efforts for complex features with a focus on automation using Selenium, Java, Python, and REST APIs. The role involves designing test scenarios, creating test plans, implementing and executing automated tests, and collaborating with stakeholders. This position is contract-to-hire, typically 6 months with potential for long-term engagement. The role is based in the U.S. and requires U.S. citizenship or a Green Card. Interviews will be conducted via phone and in-person.

• Lead testing effort for complex features, including designing test scenarios, creating test plans, and executing test cases.
• Develop automated tests for features that manage, distribute, and monitor computation across distributed systems in virtual and bare metal environments.
• Create and improve test frameworks for automation and reporting.
• Interact with customers and partners to simulate customer scenarios for product validation.
• Identify and propose areas of improvement throughout the software development process.
• Work effectively in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment.
• Communicate effectively with all stakeholders.

Required Skills

• Experience leading a small team of QA engineers focused on testing related features.
• Passion for QA and a knack for identifying tests that break code.
• Strong grasp of operating system concepts including file systems, networks, and memory management.
• Good understanding and experience testing RESTful APIs.
