Job summary

Envysion, a Motorola Solutions company, is seeking a QA Engineer to join a small, agile team. You will develop scalable solutions, review test plans, and validate customer configurations before release, ensuring high-quality software delivery.

The role emphasizes collaboration, test planning, and continuous improvement of QA processes within the Engineering department. This position is open to candidates located anywhere in the United States.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience supporting commercial software applications.
• Relational SQL skills with the ability to execute DML to support testing activities.
• Ability to write high-quality functional tests that verify features.
• Experience adapting to changing requirements and customer feedback.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and prioritize test cases and test plans.
• Serve as independent reviewer of test plans to deliver reliable software.
• Set up and manage test environments to simulate real-world scenarios.
• Record and communicate defects with clear, actionable detail.
• Maintain and improve quality management system processes.
• Install and configure software and peripheral equipment for testing.
• Verify customer configurations before release.
• Collaborate with engineering to influence product direction.
