Reality Defender Inc. is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to ensure our APIs, SDKs, web app, and real-time integrations meet high reliability standards. You will develop automated tests in Python/JavaScript, validate REST APIs, and embed tests into CI/CD to speed releases while maintaining quality.

You will work either at our NYC HQ or remotely within the U.S., reporting to the Quality Assurance Lead. The role emphasizes thorough testing, careful edge-case analysis, and collaboration with AI

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in software QA or quality engineering.
• Experience writing automated tests in Python or JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Experience testing REST APIs and using CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Own test planning and execution for APIs, SDKs, web app, and real-time integrations.
• Build and maintain automated test suites and integrate into CI/CD pipelines.
• Document defects with reproduction steps and work with engineers to resolve.
• Test reliability and performance of real-time detection under varied conditions.
• Help maintain test data and media sets used to validate releases.
• Collaborate with AI Research and Red Team for model release validation.
• Assist Customer Support in reproducing and triaging issues.
• Contribute to QA standards, docs, and release checklists.
