Additionally, you will assist the technical support team with support-related activities. You will work closely with the QA Director in testing SaaS solutions at scale.Job Duties:Translate business requirements and specifications into test plans and test casesWrite and execute test cases for web-based applicationsAssist with development of formal scale and performance test plans and executeDocument testing resultsTroubleshoot and document defectsWork closely with Software Engineering and Product Management teams to identify system requirements and acceptance criteriaParticipate in daily stand-ups and other meetings as necessaryReport on testing progress and outcomes; provide regular progress, status and performance updates to the QA DirectorAssist with technical support functionsReview technical journals and relevant industry literature to stay current with changes in technologyRequired Knowledge, Education & Experience:Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field of study or pursuing an equivalent combination of education and/or experienceUnderstanding of designing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test casesKnowledge of Agile methodologyKnowledge of quality assurance methodologies, tools, and processesExcellent written and oral communication skillsStrong attention to detailThis is a remote, part-time hourly internship that reports to the QA Director. A minimum of twenty hours a week is required.
