Job summary

Walmart is seeking a Quality Engineer II to ensure product quality through test design, automation, and CI practices. You will analyze requirements, identify risks, and develop effective testing strategies for revenue platform applications, combining manual regression with automation.

Responsibilities include translating docs into test plans, building and maintaining automation scripts, and coordinating with multiple groups across the software stack.

Qualifications

• Option 1: Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related field.
• Option 2: 3 years' experience in software engineering quality assurance, manual/automated testing, or related area.
• Quality assurance certifications (e.g., CSTE, CSQA) are a plus.
• Experience with accessibility and inclusive digital experiences is valued.

Responsibilities

• Understand product layers and business requirements to validate release quality.
• Design, implement, and maintain testing automation frameworks and scripts.
• Collaborate with internal QA and development teams for analysis and troubleshooting.
• Perform SQL, JQL analytics, and advanced networking tasks as part of testing.
