Job summary

Fujifilm is seeking an entry-level Software QA/Test position focused on ensuring quality for the Synapse Select product line. Responsibilities include manual test case creation, execution, and defect logging, with collaboration across engineering and operations.

This role emphasizes compliance with FDA and ISO13485 and requires basic knowledge of DICOM/HL7. The candidate will learn deployment methods for on-premise and cloud configurations and participate in both manual and exploratory testing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a scientific or technical field.
• 0–2 years in software development or QA.
• Basic knowledge of medical device software, DICOM and HL7.
• Familiar with AGILE software development and design controls.
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Visio, and Access.
• Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Learn Synapse Select product line deployment methods for on-premise and cloud.
• Create and execute manual test cases for Verification and Validation.
• Perform exploratory testing and log issues.
• Reproduce and document defects in the JIRA system.
• Execute development and regression testing with documented results.
• Collaborate with Software and Template Engineering and provide information as needed.
• Participate in calls with contractor QA teams to groom tickets.
• Participate in calls with automated testing team to review new cases.
• Assist in creating forms per Medical Informatics Design Control process.
• Assist documentation team with service manuals and product docs.
• Assist Operations with technical questions about Synapse Select.
• Adhere to FDA, ISO 13485 and applicable laws.
