micro1 is seeking a QA Engineer for a remote contract to test 2D design and other creative applications. You will evaluate real-world workflows and help improve quality and reliability of AI-driven tools.

The role requires hands-on experience with manual and functional testing of software like Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma, and After Effects, and a keen eye for visual and functional issues. Strong communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

Professional experience in QA, software testing, or application testing.
Hands-on experience testing 2D, design, animation, or illustration software.
Familiarity with tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma, Sketch, After Effects, Animate or similar creative applications.
Experience with manual and functional testing, test cases, and bug reporting.
Strong attention to detail and ability to identify visual and functional issues.
Clear written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Test 2D and creative applications using real-world workflows.
Identify bugs, usability issues, inconsistencies, and unexpected behavior.
Create and execute test cases for different features and workflows.
Reproduce issues and document clear steps, expected results, and actual results.
Test edge cases and more complex workflows used by designers, illustrators, or animators.
Provide clear feedback on application functionality and user experience.
Work with the team to improve testing quality and coverage.
