Apple Inc. is seeking a Software QA Engineer for Fitness Watch Software in Cupertino, CA. You will own end-to-end quality for the Workout app across watchOS and iOS, designing robust test plans and coordinating across engineering teams.

The role requires 3+ years in Software Quality Assurance, strong debugging skills, and experience with test strategies, plans, and tools. This position emphasizes collaborative cross-functional work and rigorous release readiness.

Formación

• BA/BS in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.
• Prove experience in Software Quality Assurance.
• Excellent communication with cross-functional teams.
• Experience writing test plans, cases, and architectures.

Responsabilidades

• Own end-to-end quality of the Workout app and experience across watchOS and iOS, designing and executing test plans that cover real-world user journeys from workout selection through completion and summary.
• Monitor and report on daily build health, proactively identifying regressions and new defects in Workout functionality, and communicating impact and severity to engineering and leadership in a timely manner.
• Develop and maintain manual test coverage for new Workout features, sensor-driven metrics, and edge cases
• Contribute to release readiness assessments with go/no-go recommendations based on bug trends, build stability, and known risk areas.
