Job summary

FUJIFILM Electronic Materials, U.S.A., Inc. in Mesa, Arizona is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to drive quality strategies and improve FEUS processes to meet customer expectations.

The role collaborates with operations and business teams, leads root cause analysis with 8D/MBPS methods, supports ISO 9001 compliance, and provides training to personnel while traveling to sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Quality Engineering or equivalent with specialization in Quality Systems and Statistics.
• 1 to 3 years of experience in QA systems (semiconductor industry preferred).
• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels (verbal/written/presentations).
• Self-motivated with a desire to learn new skills.
• Experience in problem solving techniques is a plus.
• Knowledge of statistics and statistical process control is a plus.
• Open to traveling, including overseas travel.
• Proficiency in MS Office.

Responsibilities

• The Quality Engineer works closely with the Operation and Business organizations to ensure quality strategies are consistently executed to meet customer’s and corporation’s quality expectations.
• Drive root cause analysis, using 8D/MBPS methodologies, to identify root causes of problems identified; coordinate containment and long-term corrective strategies.
• Support organization’s ISO-9001 Quality Management goals in audits, documentation control, non-conforming material, PCP/FMEA, and calibration.
• Provide training to personnel to ensure awareness of quality expectations.
• Interact with customers to identify opportunities to improve quality and establish feedback with Operations and Business personnel.
• Support manufacturing groups to design, implement and document procedures for process control, process improvement, testing and inspection.
• Reports directly to the Quality Manager.
• All other reasonable duties as assigned.
