Job summary

Talentify is seeking a Quality Engineer to own the gatekeeping role for PowerPlan product releases, with autonomy over functional, regression, and performance testing. You will lead the automation framework using Playwright, K6, Selenium, and data simulation, while deepening expertise in asset accounting and tax.

You will work as a hands-on member of a collaborative delivery team, balancing automation growth with release readiness and cross-team problem solving.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a technical or related field.
• Hands-on automated testing experience with Selenium or similar tools.
• Strong programming experience across Java/.NET and APIs.
• Experience embedding tests in a CI/CD pipeline.
• Ability to solve ambiguous quality problems with minimal guidance.
• Comfort with Playwright, K6, and data simulation; curiosity for new tools.

Responsibilities

• Own release gatekeeping to enable independent sign-off by quarter end.
• Expand the automation framework with new functions and components.
• Advance Playwright and K6 usage; develop data simulation for tests.
• Build readiness checks for data, environments, and config; resolve roadblocks.
• Create and maintain automated tests across Java/.NET, databases, and APIs.
• Develop domain knowledge in PowerPlan's asset accounting and tax areas.
