Job summary

PANTHERx Rare Pharmacy in Pittsburgh, PA, is seeking an IT Quality Assurance Engineer to design and execute test plans ensuring high-quality software for our specialty-pharmacy customers. You will rely on strong QA knowledge and emerging AI-driven testing methods.

You will evangelize QA policies, monitor processes, write SQL for test data, and collaborate in Agile ceremonies. The role requires clear communication, problem-solving, and a passion for quality in a fast-paced healthcare tech

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in software quality assurance.
• Knowledge of software testing processes and methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic understanding of AI concepts and their application in software testing.
• Familiarity with AI-driven software tools (e.g., Claude, Copilot).

Responsibilities

• Develops test plans and executes test cases based on business requirements.
• Test across mobile, desktop, and API platforms.
• Monitor QA process to ensure high quality deliverables.
• Follow comprehensive QA processes and procedures.
• Analyze and evaluate QA results.
• Participate in team meetings and scrum ceremonies.
• Write SQL queries to set up and validate test data.
• Communicate QA results to stakeholders.
• Develop and implement automated testing.
• Leverage AI-powered testing tools to enhance coverage and efficiency.
• Implement machine learning models for predictive defect analysis and risk-based testing.
• Use AI-driven test case generation and optimization techniques.
