Synchrony Systems, Inc. is seeking a QA Engineer to validate Cypress E2E and unit tests for React applications in a remote setting. You will own test migration, write comprehensive Cypress specs, and ensure accessibility and cross-browser compatibility across Kubernetes/AWS deployments.
The role requires strong JavaScript/TypeScript skills, experience with Jest/Vitest, and familiarity with ForgeRock identity flows. Join a team focused on robust quality across dev, sandbox, and UAT environments.

Job Type:- Full-Time
Strong Cypress E2E experience: authoring, maintaining, and refactoring spec suites for React applications
Unit testing with Jest or Vitest and React Testing Library; proficient in JavaScript or TypeScript for test code
Automated accessibility testing with axe-core and manual WCAG 2.1 AA validation; Lighthouse CI or Web Vitals monitoring
Cross-browser testing via Browser Stack or equivalent; structured defect management with clear reproduction steps and severity classification

Audit the existing Cypress E2E and unit test suites; categorize and prioritize migration work; deliver a written plan early in the engagement
Migrate unit tests from Jest to Vitest; maintain existing coverage
