Job summary

VSolvit LLC seeks a hands-on QA Automation Engineer to build and maintain automated quality solutions for C#/.NET REST APIs and a modern React front end that is the primary focus for current and future delivery pipelines. The role will also provide limited support for a legacy Blazor application during transition/maintenance cycles.

This is a hybrid position (3-4 days onsite) in a secure environment; an active U.S. Secret security clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Experience testing REST APIs and services using automation or tooling.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT or related field.
• Strong communication for documenting test results and cross-functional teams.
• Experience with JIRA and Agile methodologies.
• 2–5 years in QA Engineer or similar role.
• Active Secret clearance (U.S. Citizenship required).

Responsibilities

• Configuration validation of roles, menus, actions, policies, permissions, and settings.
• Tier II help desk support to troubleshoot bugs and escalate Jira issues.
• Conduct user testing, regression testing, and maintain test scripts.
• Provide testing status updates and analysis.
• Collaborate in IPT and provide production support.
• Produce help desk and test result reports with lessons learned.
• Advise on test plans and functional validation improvements.
• Develop guides, use cases, and inventory management processes.

Job Summary

We are seeking a hands-on QA Automation Engineer to build and maintain automated quality solutions for C#/.NET REST APIs and a modern React front end that is the primary focus for current and future delivery pipelines. The role will also provide limited support for a legacy Blazor application during transition/maintenance cycles. This is a hybrid position (3-4 days onsite) in a secure environment; an active U.S. Secret security clearance is required.

Responsibilities:

• Perform data management by creating and maintaining the data management plan for OIS-MC
• User management through account creation and role assigning
• Configuration through validating roles, menus, actions, policies, permissions, and settings
• Tier II help desk support to troubleshoot reported bugs/issues, elevate JIRA write-ups to third party vendor and assist to resolvePerform User Testing of Application, Regression Testing, and validation/verification; Create,Update, and Maintain Test Scripts/Functional Validation for Help Desk support and user testing
• Perform Testing Status updates, reviews, and analysis to track status of fixes to application
• Work in a multi-functional matrix team within an Integrated Product Team (IPT); provide Production support, and IPT support functions as needed
• Produce Help Desk and Test Result reporting that includes lessons learned, corrective actions and process improvements to mitigate common user Help Desk issues and testing issue
• Provide subject matter expertise in process improvements to Test Plans, Functional Validation
• Guides (Test Scripts and Use Cases), Help desk, and overall inventory management processes and procedures that reduce errors in workflows and increase

Basic Qualifications:

• Experience testing REST APIs and services (automation or tooling such as Postman/Newman and/or .NET test harnesses).
• Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or any other related field.
• Strong communication skills for documenting test results and interacting with cross functional teams.
• Experience with bug tracking and project management tools (JIRA).
• Familiarity with Agile methodology and tools (Scrum, Kanban).
• 2-5 years of experience as a QA Engineer or a similar role.
• Active Secret clearance (U.S. Citizenship required).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Preferred Skills and Qualification
• Experience in regulated/government environments; familiarity with NIST-aligned secure development practices
• Understanding of continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and version control systems like Git.
• Knowledge of software testing tools and frameworks like Selenium or Playwright
• Experience with version control and collaboration tools (Git, Bitbucket).
• Proficiency in .Net and JavaScript
