Job description

We're hiring a QA Engineer for the unglamorous, essential work of making qTest fast enough that nobody notices it at all. Few Bozeman employers pair $98,000 - $146,000 with this much technology autonomy, and fewer still ask only 6 years to earn it.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive adoption of best practices in testing, security, and observability
• Translate LoadRunner metrics into the one chart Industrial Excellence Corp leadership checks each morning
• Pair with cross-functional partners to scope and deliver remote projects
• Catch the relentlessly-kind Test Automation regression in staging before it ever reaches Bozeman customers
• Document the Selenium Grid system so the next senior engineer onboards in days, not weeks
• Configure and manage infrastructure as code across staging and production
• Keep the technology LoadRunner service humming through Bozeman's holiday traffic surge
• Land Jasmine performance wins Industrial Excellence Corp can measure in MT retention numbers

What You'll Bring

• A collaborator's reflex to share credit and absorb blame
• Selenium Grid fundamentals plus the TestNG polish clients notice
• The kind of reliability that earns you the hard assignments
• Clear thinking under the kind of pressure Bozeman, MT deadlines bring
• Demonstrated comfort presenting to senior leadership
• The diplomacy to align stakeholders who don't agree yet
• Enough Selenium Grid to be dangerous, enough Teamwork to be trusted

At Industrial Excellence Corp, an oddball-friendly Bozeman-based studio, the whole mission boils down to making Jasmine feel effortless for everyone downstream. We celebrate Jasmine craftsmanship and hold ourselves to a high bar on the details that matter.

• Our $98,000 - $146,000 package travels with real mentorship, a growth ladder you can see, and the flexibility to clock in from Bozeman or home.
