Job summary

UST is seeking a highly motivated QA Engineer with Pharmacy and Retail domain experience to join our Quality Engineering team in Bentonville, Arkansas. The role focuses on testing pharmacy applications, prescription processing workflows, claims management, and integrations.

You will design test plans, execute functional and API tests, and build automated frameworks using Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, and Rest Assured while collaborating across teams to ensure quality throughout the SDLC.

Qualifications

QA Engineer

The Role

UST is seeking a highly motivated QA Engineer with strong Pharmacy and Retail domain experience to join our Quality Engineering team. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on expertise in testing pharmacy applications, prescription processing workflows, claims management, fulfillment systems, inventory management, and pharmacy‑related integrations.

The candidate should be proficient in both manual and automation testing with strong API and end‑to‑end testing capabilities.

What You'll Do

• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Perform Functional, Integration, API, Regression, System, and End‑to‑End testing.
• Validate pharmacy business processes including:
• Prescription intake and processing
• Claims adjudication
• Medication fulfillment
• Inventory management
• Pharmacy operations workflows
• Test and validate data quality, data migration, and system integrations.
• Develop and maintain automated test frameworks and test suites.
• Execute API testing using REST services and validate backend integrations.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, Product Owners, Developers, Architects, and Stakeholders to ensure quality deliverables.
• Identify, document, track, and validate defects through resolution.
• Support release validation, production deployment testing, and post‑release verification.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, backlog grooming, and retrospectives.
• Ensure quality standards and best practices are followed throughout the SDLC.

What You Need

• Experience Range: 5 - 10 Years
• Test Automation using: Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, Rest Assured, Functional Testing, API Testing
• Integration Testing, Regression Testing, End‑to‑End Testing, Test Automation Framework Development
• API & Backend Testing: Postman, REST APIs, API Validation
• Service Integration Testing
• Data Validation: SQL, ETL Testing, Big Data Validation, Spark, Hadoop
• DevOps & Tools: CI/CD Pipelines, Git, JIRA. Test Management Tools
• 5+ years of Quality Assurance experience.
• 3+ years of Pharmacy/Retail domain testing experience preferred.
• Hands‑on experience with Playwright and API automation.
• Proven experience in end‑to‑end and integration testing of enterprise applications.
• Knowledge of:
  • Prescription Processing
  • Pharmacy Claims Management
  • Medication Fulfillment

  • Understanding pharmacy application workflows, business processes, and integrations.
• Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience testing Pharmacy Management Systems (PMS), Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) platforms, or Retail Pharmacy applications.
  • Experience working with healthcare or pharmacy-related integrations.
  • Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology.
  • Experience with test automation architecture and framework design.
  • Knowledge of cloud-based testing environments is a plus.

Location & Compensation

Compensation can differ depending on factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, education, and level of experience. UST provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in various U.S. markets as set forth below.
