Job summary

Syndeo,-LL is seeking a QA Data Tester to thoroughly review data quality and product functionality across platforms like Power BI, SQL, and Excel. The role involves identifying bugs, documenting issues, and collaborating with DevOps and the Data Science team to ensure deployment of high-quality solutions.

It may require occasional travel and flexible hours. The ideal candidate has 1+ years in QA testing and data analysis, strong SQL/Excel skills, and comfort communicating in English and Spanish.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or related field.
• 1+ years’ experience in QA application testing or analysis background.
• 1+ years of Data Analysis.
• 3+ years’ experience with clinical systems preferred.
• Data Analyst certification or other industry-related courses and/or certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze data between systems and reports.
• Examine systems prototypes and production systems.
• Identify reporting issues, bugs, errors, etc.; document them and assist DevOps as needed.
• Provide timely written documentation including findings, policies, procedures, and manuals.
• Propose features or enhancements based on user feedback with proper documentation.
• Evaluate business processes to enhance usability of the product.
• Assist in implementing new systems, technologies, or features; may train teammates or client personnel.
• Support other IT needs and travel to other locations for troubleshooting as needed.

Salary Range: $45,000.00 To $50,000.00 Annually

Description:

The QA Data Tester will review, through extensive testing, and data analysis, the quality of data and products under development for our different platforms (Power BI, SQL, Excel). The Tester will scrutinize the application for possible bugs, data inconsistencies, and collaborate in their resolutions, while participating in the creation of new features and enhancements by inventorying final user needs.

The Tester could be assigned to train end users through planned implementation processes and monitor the progress of said implementations as needed. The tester is responsible for providing written reports to the development and/or management teams with detailed information (such as troubleshooting strategies, manuals, and assessment details, etc.) related to their tasks to guarantee the delivery of high-quality products that have been thoroughly tested and approved for deployment in the company’s production environments. At the same time, the Tester will support the Data Science Team on an as needed basis to guarantee operational continuity.

The position may require flexible work hours, which could include nights and weekends. Also, occasional travel to other company sites, as needed. The employee may support the organization’s clients on an as needed basis in IT related issues.

Responsibilities of the job include:

• Analyze Data between systems and reports.

• Provide timely detailed written documentation to include findings or observations, policies and procedures, user manuals, etc.
• Bring to the development team potential features or enhancements because of user feedback, meetings, training sessions and personal observations. These must be brought in with proper documentation
• Evaluate business processes and procedures that enhance the usability of the product
• Assist in the implementation of new systems, technologies, or features as needed. This may include training other teammates and/or client personnel
• Support other IT needs in the company as required
• Travel to other locations when necessary to troubleshoot problems or assist in IT initiatives as needed
