Job summary

Aviagen is seeking a QA Coordinator in Pageland, SC, to support quality assurance, food safety, sanitation, and production standards. You will verify labeling, packaging, and documentation while assisting inventory control and hold/release activities.

Collaborating with Production and QA teams, you will identify issues, implement corrective actions, and maintain traceable records. The role requires attention to detail and strong communication, with flexibility for varied shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year of QA, quality control, production, agricultural operations, food safety, or related experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of QA, sanitation, GMP, inventory, or production processes preferred.
• Basic to intermediate computer skills with ability to enter and maintain data.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to document accurately.

Responsibilities

• Monitor production processes to verify compliance with quality, food safety, sanitation, and product specs.
• Communicate with Production and QA teams to address deficiencies and ensure proper handling.
• Conduct routine line inspections and review documentation for shift-based compliance.
• Verify GMPs, sanitation, hygiene, and other quality procedures are followed.
• Maintain QA records, inspection forms, sampling documentation, logs, and related records.
• Support inventory control, product holds, and release activities as needed.
• Assist with investigations of quality concerns and corrective actions.
• Follow biosecurity, safety, and regulatory requirements.
