Job summary

The Coca-Cola Company is seeking a Quality Assurance Assistant Chemist on the 3rd shift (9pm-5:30am) in Ontario, CA. You will lead a QA-lab team, perform microbiological testing, manage SAP data, and ensure product quality and safety across ingredients, syrups, water, HFCS, and finished goods.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s in a related science, have QA/microbiology experience in manufacturing, and strong analytical, organizational, and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant scientific discipline.
• Experience in QA, microbiology or lab operations in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory and microbiological testing and release ingredients, syrups, water, HFCS, and finished products.
• Collect, analyze, document, and interpret microbiological samples and test results.
• Calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment; troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Manage quality-related SAP transactions, including product releases, block stock, master data, and quality records.
• Conduct GMP audits, process verifications, end-of-run verifications, and production quality inspections.
• Verify labels, packaging, product codes, and production specifications to ensure compliance.
• Investigate quality issues, implement corrective actions, and support plant operations.
