Job summary

Groupe Kardol in Mechanicsburg, PA seeks a QA Software Automation Tester for a 6-month contract, onsite 2 days per week (Tue/Thu). Role covers end-to-end testing, HHS IE rule validation, and test automation awareness within agile practices.

The candidate will design and execute functional and regression tests for web-based systems, write SQL queries for data validation, and collaborate across teams to ensure quality and timely delivery under pressure.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of end-to-end software testing experience.
• Experience testing Health and Human Services systems, incl. IE rules for TANF, Medicaid, SNAP and childcare.
• Understand testing approaches: white-box, black-box, coverage, regression.
• Review docs, write/update test cases, and execute functional/regression tests for web apps.
• Write and modify SQL queries to validate database results.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute functional and regression tests for web-based applications.
• Coordinate with teams to gather information, present findings and resolve issues.
• Document defects clearly and work with developers to reproduce and fix issues.
• Prepare test artifacts: test plans, test cases, and test data for releases.
