We are seeking an experienced QA Automation Tester to join a fast-paced project with WAB Bank in Dallas, TX. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automation frameworks, Azure DevOps (ADO), and hands-on testing experience in the banking domain. This is a short-term onsite opportunity suited for a detail-oriented QA professional available to work locally in Dallas.

Job Summary

Note: Banking domain experience needed. We are seeking an experienced QA Automation Tester to join a fast-paced project with WAB Bank in Dallas, TX. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automation frameworks, Azure DevOps (ADO), and hands-on testing experience in the banking domain. Key Responsibilities

1. Develop, execute, and maintain automated and manual test scripts for web and backend applications.
2. Contribute to or set up automation frameworks to ensure scalability and maintainability.
3. Manage and track test cases, execution, and defect reporting using Azure DevOps (ADO).
4. Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.
5. Participate in test planning, test design, and test execution activities.
6. Ensure timely delivery of high-quality releases in a banking/financial services environment.

Required Qualifications

1. 5-10 years of experience in QA or software testing roles.
2. Proven hands-on experience with Azure DevOps (ADO) for test case management and defect tracking.
3. Strong understanding of and experience with automation testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, etc.).
4. Experience testing banking or financial applications is highly preferred.
5. Strong communication and documentation skills.
6. Must be local to Dallas, TX and available to work onsite.

Preferred Qualifications

1. ISTQB certification or equivalent QA certification is a plus.
2. Experience in Agile environments and familiarity with sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives.
