Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking a QA Automation Lead to bolster our QA organization across multiple releases in a Los Angeles office. You will mentor teams, design and tune automation frameworks, and drive automation-first quality initiatives.

The role emphasizes strong communication, stakeholder management, and hands-on testing across UI, API, and regression suites. Ideal candidates have 3+ years in QA automation, proficiency with Playwright/Selenium/Cypress, and a solid background in Web/API testing

Qualifications

• 3+ years of QA Automation experience.
• Experience with Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, or similar automation tools.
• Experience with Web Application Testing.
• Experience with API Testing using Postman, REST APIs, or similar tools.
• Working knowledge of JavaScript or TypeScript.
• Familiarity with JIRA, Azure DevOps, or similar test management tools.
• Basic understanding of CI/CD processes using Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions.
• Experience with SQL and database validation/testing is preferred.
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Responsibilities

Our client is seeking a QA Automation Lead to join their team. As a QA Automation Lead, you will be part of the QA organization supporting delivery teams across multiple releases. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership and people management skills, excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities, and an analytical, detail-oriented problem-solving mindset that aligns successfully in the organization.

Ideal Candidate

Candidates with 3-7 years of QA Automation experience, strong automation skills, API testing experience, and exposure to modern testing tools such as Playwright, Selenium, or Cypress are encouraged to apply.
