Job summary

SFE in Charlotte, NC is seeking a senior QA Automation Lead to own API test automation strategy and delivery. You will lead a team, design reusable automation frameworks, and drive quality across agile releases.

The ideal candidate has at least 10 years of API testing experience, strong SQL skills, and hands-on proficiency with Postman, Rest Assured, Karate, Selenium, and related tools. This onsite role demands collaboration with product and development teams from day one.

Qualifications

• Must have strong API testing experience and leadership in QA automation.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant work experience in QA Automation.
• Ability to define automation strategy and drive end-to-end delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end API Test Automation initiatives using tools/frameworks such as Postman, Rest Assured, Karate, Selenium, or similar automation frameworks.
• Test APIs, validate payloads, authentication, integrations, and backend data using SQL.
• Define automation strategy, develop reusable frameworks, review scripts, and drive coverage across Agile releases.
• Manage defects, test planning, JIRA tracking, reporting, and stakeholder communication.
• Provide leadership to QA teams, mentor automation engineers, and estimate testing efforts.
