Job summary

Medline Industries, LP is seeking a Software Tester with QA automation expertise to design, implement, and maintain automated test suites for web and mobile applications. You will collaborate with product owners, developers, and analysts to ensure quality across the SDLC and release cycles.

The role emphasizes Playwright-driven automation, SQL validation, and comprehensive test coverage, with a strong focus on delivering reliable software in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on software testing experience.
• Experience designing and executing test cases and maintaining them in a test management tool.
• Experience building automation frameworks for web and mobile apps.
• Strong experience creating end-to-end automated tests with Playwright.
• Proficient in SQL and database testing.
• Capable of delivering on deadlines.
• Excellent communication with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Create, execute, and manage test cases, automation scripts, and essential test artifacts, including test data and validation.
• Provide accurate test estimations and manage reviews for peer test cases.
• Execute the test plan comprehensively and oversee activities to ensure all objectives are successfully achieved and the solution performs as intended.
• Confirm that every software feature and phase is thoroughly tested, documenting any potential issues and collaborating with the Product Owner before the product launch.
• Conduct tests assessing functionality, automation, performance, load/stress, reliability, stability, and compatibility across various systems.
• Maintain testing metrics related to bug resolution and user acceptance testing to monitor progress.
• Validate data integrity and precision through database queries, stored procedures, and ETL workflows testing.
• Assess and document the impacts of software defects accurately.
• Ensure validated deliverables comply with functional, design specifications, and requirements.
• Utilize suitable tools and applications aligned with enterprise standards.
• Manage test artifacts using case management tools such as Jira-Zephyr.
• Conduct testing across multiple browsers, operating systems, and mobile platforms.
• Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and project managers to ensure swift issue resolution.
• Actively participate in Agile/SCRUM team activities.
• Demonstrate experience in testing web services with tools like REST, SoapUI, and Postman.
