A leading technology solutions provider is seeking a QA Automation Engineer for a hybrid role in Tampa, FL. The ideal candidate will have over 6 years of QA testing experience and at least 2 years of hands-on test automation using Java and Selenium. Strong knowledge of automation design patterns and defect management in Agile/Scrum environments is essential. This position is W2 Only, and non-local applicants are not acceptable.

Title: QA Automation Engineer (Java/Selenium) – W2 Only (no 1099/C2C)

Location: Tampa, FL – Hybrid (Non-local applicants not acceptable)

Experience: 6+ years

Qualifications:

• QA testing experience with at least 2 years of hands‑on test automation
• Hands‑on experience with Java, TestNG, JUnit, and Selenium
• Hands‑on experience with Git and Bitbucket
• Knowledge of automation standards and best practices, including XPath axes and CSS selectors
• In‑depth knowledge of common automation design patterns such as the Page Object Model and software development methodologies
• Experience with defect management using ALM and Agile/Scrum (JIRA) – defect triaging, status reporting and tracking
